Terms of Service
Last updated: November 8, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of Artelo, including the website at artelo.space, the private source-code repository, recipes, documentation and updates (together, the "Product"). The Product is provided by Individual Entrepreneur RomarioDeveloper, the Republic of Kazakhstan ("Artelo", "we", "us").
By reserving a founding spot, buying a license, or using the Product, you agree to these Terms. If you are buying for a company, you confirm that you can bind that company, and "you" means the company.
Questions: hello@artelo.space
1. What Artelo is
Artelo is a developer toolkit that orchestrates AI coding agents you already use (for example Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI). It gives them roles, task breakdowns, project recipes and automated quality gates, and it includes a local web interface ("Studio").
Artelo does not include access to any AI model. The agents run on your own subscriptions or API keys, under the terms of their providers. You pay those providers directly. We do not resell tokens and we do not see your API keys.
2. Current status: pre-alpha
Artelo is under active development and is currently pre-alpha software. Some features shown on our website are marked as planned or in progress, and they may change, arrive later than expected, or be dropped. The product page and the public devlog describe what works today. Please buy only if you are comfortable with that. Section 3 and our Refund Policy explain how you are protected.
We will not describe a feature as available unless it is available in the release you can access.
3. Founding licenses and pre-sale
We sell one-time founding licenses. The plan, price and what is included are shown on the product page and at checkout at the time you buy. In short:
- Solo: one developer.
- Team: up to five named developers within one company or agency, plus the extras listed for the Team plan.
Reservations. If you reserve a founding spot on our website, nothing is charged. A reservation is not a purchase and creates no obligation for you or for us. If early access does not open by the date shown on our website at the time you reserved (if one is shown), your reservation simply expires.
Early access. Early access is open: after payment you get read access to the private repository right away (Section 5). Our Refund Policy adds a founding guarantee while Artelo is pre-alpha: full refund any time until artelo run completes the landing recipe end to end, plus 14 days.
Pre-sale. If you buy before early access opens, the expected early-access date is the one shown on the product page at the time of purchase. You can get a full refund at any time before your access opens and for 14 days after, as described in the Refund Policy.
Payment. Purchases are one-time payments. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.
4. Payments and our reseller
Orders are processed by Polar Software, Inc. ("Polar"), which acts as the merchant of record and authorized reseller of the Product. Polar handles payment, sales tax or VAT, and your receipt. Your payment is also subject to Polar's Buyer Terms. We never receive or store your full card details.
Prices are shown in US dollars. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location.
5. Delivery
Access is delivered as read access to a private GitHub repository. After purchase you connect or enter your GitHub account, and access is granted automatically or, if automation fails, manually by us within two business days. You need a GitHub account to receive the Product.
If you bought before early access opens, access is granted when early access opens, and we will email you on that day.
6. License
Subject to these Terms and to payment, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the version(s) of the Product you received, as follows.
You may:
- use the Product to build, deliver and maintain unlimited projects, including paid work for your own clients;
- modify the Product, including roles, prompts, recipes and configuration, for your own use;
- keep using every version you received after your update period ends;
- for the Team plan, share the Product with up to five developers in your organization, and use the extras listed for the Team plan.
You may not:
- publish, resell, sublicense, share or redistribute the Product's source code, recipes or prompts, in original or modified form, as a standalone product, template, kit or course;
- share repository access or your license with people outside your license (one developer for Solo, up to five for Team);
- use the Product to build a competing orchestration toolkit or recipe marketplace;
- remove copyright or license notices from the source code.
Your output belongs to you. The code, content and projects you create with the Product are yours. We claim no rights in them. Delivering a client project that was built with Artelo is allowed, even if the project contains generated scaffolding. Handing the Artelo toolkit itself to the client is not.
We keep all rights in the Product not expressly granted to you.
7. Updates and support
Your license includes 12 months of updates starting on the day you first receive access. After that period the Product keeps working, and further updates are optional. Support is provided by email and in the private repository's GitHub Discussions on a best-effort basis. Team licenses get priority replies. We do not promise specific response times.
8. Your responsibilities
- Review what the agents produce. AI coding agents can produce code that is wrong, insecure or infringes someone else's rights. Artelo's quality gates reduce this risk but do not remove it. You are responsible for reviewing, testing and deploying anything you ship, and for what you deliver to your clients.
- Third-party services. You are responsible for complying with the terms of the AI providers, hosting platforms and other services you connect, and for any costs they charge, including token usage triggered by Artelo runs. Set budgets and limits with those providers.
- Lawful use. Do not use the Product to break the law, infringe others' rights or build malware.
- Keep your access secure. Do not share your GitHub access or account credentials.
9. Warranties
We will provide the Product with reasonable care and skill, and it will substantially match its description for the version you receive. Apart from that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Product is provided "as is" and "as available", without other warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted, error-free operation. We do not guarantee any specific time savings, cost savings or business results.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited under the law of your country of residence.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- our total liability for any claim related to the Product is limited to the amount you paid for your license;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, third-party AI or hosting costs, or claims by your clients.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Ending your license
- Refund. If you receive a refund, your license ends and repository access is removed. Please delete any copies of the source code you made.
- Breach. If you seriously breach Section 6 (for example, by publishing the source code) and do not fix it within 14 days of our email, we may end your license and remove access. Where the breach is deliberate redistribution, we may end it immediately.
- If we stop development. If we discontinue Artelo, you keep your license to the versions you received, and we will tell you by email. If we discontinue before your access ever opened, you get a full refund.
Sections 6 (restrictions), 9, 10 and 12 survive the end of your license.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may bring a claim in the courts there.
Before starting any formal dispute or chargeback, please email hello@artelo.space. Most issues can be solved by a refund within days.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Product develops. The version that applies to your purchase is the one in force on the day you bought. Changes that would reduce your rights under a license you already bought do not apply to you without your agreement. We will note the date of the latest change at the top of this page.
